Who Am I?

I am so excited to be on this journey of writing and living my life for the Lord. I finally have my new website up and running, and am so proud of the result. Having a new site makes me want to reintroduce myself to potential readers and readers that have been with me from the beginning. So forgive me, but this may be a little longer than my normal posts.

Who Am I?

I am a thirty-three year-old child of the One True God. My writing is a gift from Him, and I want to use this blessing to help others who may be struggling with a problem. But, I also want to reach those that may not know God. We’ve all been there. Even after I was saved, I still had moments of doubt. I’m not proud to admit my weakness, but I want you all to know that I am a real person who struggles with my relationship with God. My life is not all happy faces and easy roads. I have worries, doubts, and fears. I have sinned, and been ashamed of my sin. I have asked for forgiveness and learned from my mistakes. I have stumbled and fell flat on my face in my walk with God. But, with God’s help, I get back up and dust my jeans off to move on. This is what I write about.

I want Christians and Non-Christians to know that we all have problems. Life doesn’t always work out how you planned. But the difference is, I have hope for the future. I know that even when my life gets turned upside down, there will be light at the end of the tunnel. God will use my faults and failings to make something beautiful. He’s done it in the past, so I know he’ll do it again and again. I want to share that hope with everyone.

Who Am I?

I am single and over thirty, and I’m okay with that. I am not alone. I have a beautiful family that love and support me. I’m so blessed with my family and how close we are. My Mom is my best friend. I have a rotten cat named Angelous. He’s old and grumpy, but still lets me cuddle him when I’m feeling sad. And I do get sad. I wonder if I will ever find a man that makes me feel beautiful, safe, and cherished. I’ve had more than one opportunity to walk down the aisle, and I am so happy that I did not make that long walk. Those men were not right for me…nor I for them. If I had married them, I would not only have hurt myself, but I would have short-changed them from finding their true soul mate. So, until that day comes that I find the man intended for me, I am going to live my life to the fullest.

Who Am I?

I am a writer. I own this title. No one will ever take it away from me again. I once allowed someone’s negative opinions and abuse of power to take that title from me. I was young and vulnerable, but not again. I am a writer and published author. And guess what…I have more books coming out! I will not be silenced.

This is who I am. Take me as I am. I have a wacky life full of comedy, drama, and happiness. If you’re ready to take this ride, sign up for my newsletter.

Blessings.
