Birthday Gift Part 2
Okay, so last week was my mother’s birthday, and I was struggling to buy her the perfect gift. I love my mother and appreciate all she has done for me over the years and all she continues to do for me. She’s my best friend, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I had mentioned getting a book that she’d shown some interest in, but that just wasn’t my mom. Oh, I’ll end up getting her the book, but she’s not exactly an avid reader like me, so that didn’t really fit her personality.
Then I remembered that she has wanted a step tracker wristwatch so that she can track her steps and see how many miles she walks and calories she burns during the day. She’s been my fitness partner this year, and I thought this would be a great way to boost our exercise routine.
I have no problems buying a fitbit or apple watch for my mom, but she hates having to learn knew stuff, so I went for the easiest tracker I could find. I bought her the Copper Fit which tracks steps, calories, miles, and distances. It also functions as a watch, and we programmed it for her specific profile (age, sex, weight, height). So far, she loves it. She wanted to wear it to church Sunday, but we agreed it really didn’t go with her dress, but as soon as we got home, it magically appeared on her wrist J.
All in all I think I made a smart choice for her present. She loves, and it wasn’t the same old stuff she normally gets. Birthday 2017 was a SUCCESS!
