Have you woken up each day to a new crazy in this world we live in? I know I have. We are turning against each other for many silly reasons. We fight each other instead of fighting the true enemy of this world. I have caught myself judging others because they do not view an unborn baby the way I do, but how can we expect these women to see anything but what they have been force-fed for years?
They have been told that a clump of cells in their uterus is not a growing child. They have been told that a woman’s right to her body is okay only if she needs an abortion. Women have been objectified and lied to for centuries to keep them in their supposed place. If they cannot see themselves as worthy . . . How can they see a baby in their womb?
My fight is to spread truth and love to this world. God loves each one of us. He created us . . . Gave us life when we were just a clump of cells. We fight for people with depression to stop them from taking their own lives. We fight for the lives of animals and especially those of an endangered species. Why then do we not fight for unborn babies?
I think for too long, Christians laid down and allowed the corruption of this world to influence even their views. They were taught tolerance is how Jesus would want us to act, but there is a huge difference between loving our lost brothers and sisters and tolerating what they do.
God put us on this earth to be fruitful. Genesis1:28 says “God blessed them and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground’” (NIV). God wanted the earth filled with life. Why then would He condone aborting the life that He gave you?
After the flood, God gave Noah’s sons a commandment. Genesis 9:1 says, “Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, ‘Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth’” (NIV). God values ALL life. It is time to fight against the evil that is corrupting this world. We need to flood the world with light and love, especially now.
This world is turned upside down, but instead of spreading light and love, we are spreading hate and accusations against one another. Maybe that woman who is thinking about abortion just needs to know that she is loved. If we become like the world by condemning her when she needs guidance, we are worse than those who truly believe a clump of cells is not a baby.
I would be glad to sit and listen to anyone who needs an ear. I will do so without condemning you. I won’t walk you into an abortion clinic, but I also won’t stand there and call you horrible names because of the choice you are making. I will pray for you and your unborn child. I will cry for the life lost and the piece of yourself you are giving away, but when you need me afterwards, I will be there. God will still love you. There is still time to feel God’s love and find salvation, but my dear lost brothers and sisters . . . The clock is running out.
